Landmark on Main Street is a cultural gem located in Port Washington, New York on Long Island's renowned Gold Coast.

Restored and preserved by a group of dedicated citizens with a vision, Landmark is an architectural treasure and true community center. It houses the Port Washington Children's Center, the Parent Resource Center and the Teen Center, three not-for-profit organizations that provide vital support to 25,000 area residents.

Landmark is also home to the Jeanne Rimsky Theater, which offers one of the most intimate performance seating arrangements in the metropolitan area. Recently recognized by WFUV Radio as one of the top thirty venues in greater New York, the theater presents world-class programming across musical genres and topics that enlighten the mind and captivate the spirit of all generations.

Landmark has hosted sold-out performances from our popular Children's Series to world-renowned artists such as The Bacon Brothers, Joan Osborne, Shelby Lynne, Steve Earle, composer/musician extraordinaire Marvin Hamlisch, Broadway's Brian Stokes Mitchell and Christine Ebersole, Latin-Pop star Raul Malo, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jorma Kaukonen, and folk icons Judy Collins, Richie Havens, Janis Ian, Lucy Kaplansky, The Kingston Trio, Tom Paxton, Richard Shindell, Michelle Shocked and Dar Williams.

Housed in a century old, historic building, Landmark continues to evolve as a premiere cultural center, integral service institution and beloved anchor of the community.
