Lead Presenter: New York State Council on the Arts Presenting Program

The Smith Opera House invites applications and referrals for the position of President & Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the nonprofit corporation and is charged with the external and community relations, fund development, strategic planning and artistic programming policy as well as operational, financial, and administrative management. The ideal candidate will have senior experience in leading a dynamic arts organization, a minimum of seven years of not-for profit arts venue management experience and a bachelor degree in arts, humanities or business management or equivalent experience in facility management and administration.
