Sugarloaf Music Series is, primarily, a jazz presenting arts organization also featuring related genres i.e. Cajun/zydeco, bluegrass, and blues. Our events are held in a wonderful venue, The Pavilion of the Lycian Performing Arts Center in the hamlet of Sugarloaf, a village of craftsman located in the Hudson Valley approximately 75 miles from Manhattan. Our mission is two-fold: to present top quality performing artists deserving wider recognition, many of whom reside locally, to the public-at-large and to facilitate free mini-residencies and concert/workshops for students in our home school district, Warwick Valley Public Schools.
