New School Concerts presents the Schneider Concerts chamber music series.

The series goal is to to seek out and offer exposure early in their careers to the most outstanding and promising young musicians and ensembles and to offer chamber music concerts of the highest caliber at ticket prices modest enough to ensure access to all New Yorkers. Over the years, this series has presented pianist Peter Serkin, the Guarneri and Cleveland String Quartets, and many other ensembles in their New York debuts, as well as such artists as pianist Murray Perahia and cellist Yo Yo Ma before they came to wide public attention.

Artistic decisions are made by a committed of noted chamber musicians: Pamela Frank, Jaime Laredo, Cho-Liang Lin, Arnold Steinhardt, and Michael Tree.
