Hubbard Hall is a small 1878 rural opera house operated as a community art center. Hubbard Hall Projects, Inc., the nfp that owns Hubbard Hall also owns three adjacent buildings in a historic rail freight yard. These have recently been transformed into a Dance studio, a small black-box theater, several classrooms and office spaces.
HHP is mandated by its by-laws to hold the historic Hubbard Building in trust for the community as an arts center.
Mission:
HHP is an arts center supporting creativity and inviting participation to make art and community happen. HHP strives to enrich the lives of individuals and communities, and offer valuable pathways to learning through the arts. HHP intends that its programs promote and serve as a magnet for artistic activity. In carrying out its mission, HHP strives to:
• Present and produce the very highest quality professional artists.
• Create educational and performing opportunities for community members of all ages and abilities to participate in the arts.
• Provide opportunities for mentoring and educational interaction between professionals and amateurs.
