Built in 1969 and designed by I.M. Pei and Partners, the Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center houses three peformance venues and two art galleries. Over 165 events are held annually with combined attendance of nearly 50,000.

The Center is headed by Executive Director Jefferson Westwood who also runs SUNY Fredonia's undergraduate program in Arts Administration. Jefferson has 40 years experience in the field and recently completed a three-year term on the NYSCA Presenting Organization Panel, the last two as chair.
